Show 8: Ufology

July 28th, 2013: Ufology /juːˈfɒlədʒiː/ is the array of subject matter and activities associated with an interest in unidentified flying objects (UFOs).  We were recently invited to help promote the upcoming Contact in the Desert UFO conference, and of course we were totally into it! Our show on Ufology rockets On Topic to a whole new dimension as we speak with four well-known experts in the field, who are all featured speakers at the conference.  There are a lot of opinions when it comes to this topic, but the one thing that seems clear is that many, many people are experiencing something.  There are countless personal stories, photos, and videos of UFOs.  Almost anyone you ask has a story themselves, or one from a friend or family member that’s had a sighting or an encounter.  And it’s true that there are countless documents that have been released due to the Freedom of Information Act, that show that many government agencies had an ongoing interest in the UFO phenomenon.  So what, exactly, is going on?  Our guests today venture to answer that question.  First we speak with David Sereda, a well-known UFO researcher and filmmaker who has studied world religion, science, physics and paranormal psychology for over 25 years–he talks about his personal journey and discusses his revelation into the secret technology of the great pyramids.  Alfred Webre is our second guest, and he’ll offer insight into the concept of Exopolitics–his work in bringing together science, spirituality, and the UFO phenomenon, encouraging cooperation in the multiverse.  Then historian Barbara Harris takes us on a virtual tour of the mysterious and unusual Morongo Basin, Giant Rock and the Integratron.  “Alien Implant” surgeon Dr. Roger Leir rounds out the show with his fascinating story, discussing how he came to be known in the Ufology field, and the scientific findings from the latest objects he removed from abductees–as well as the recent UFO footage shot in Turkey.

The show contains shortened interviews with each guest, we’ll be posting the extended version of each interview soon so check back with us later or subscribe to On Topic for email notifications on our home page.
