Show 3: Healing

egyptian-healer

June 2nd, 2013: Healing is as much of an art form as it is a science.  The healers we speak to in this episode may be labeled “alternative”, as their methods very much involve an equal cooperation between patient and practitioner, and encourage the body’s natural desire for equilibrium in a non-invasive way.  Hear interviews with three healers who specialize in very different, yet equally effective modalities.  First we talk to Wanni Yu, an LA-based acupuncturist from a family that’s been practicing the art for some 20 generations.  Then Petar Sardelich, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Psychiatric Technician, and Master’s level Addictions Counselor based in Pasadena, CA.  Lastly we speak with Despina Arzouman, a skilled reflexologist with a background in dance, based out of Sierra Madre, CA.  By the way, if you’re in the Los Angeles area, and are interested in booking an appointment with any of them, please visit their websites, below.
